Peacock

I’m not a mere bird
Don’t insult me
With such slander!
I’m the most desired,
Most admired,
I’m the epitome
Of beauty.
I don’t have to
Do any tricks
To have people
Stare in amazement.
I simply spread
My tail like a fan
And everyone gazes
In admiration.
My feathers are lined
With shades of blue, gold and green,
They’re decorated with
What appears to be an eye
Cause I’m what everyone
Wants to see!
I’m regal, I’m royal
On top of my head
There’s a crown,
I’m not a mere bird
I’m the King of Pheasants
All other birds
Bow down.
